LUTON, ENGLAND.A psychologist advised the court a 16year-old boy, accused of attempted rape and assault, is taking "a step in the right direction" since he had previously be on found guilty of homosexual offoxcos.

TORONTO, CANADA For the first time in Canada two Lo3bians were charged with "gross indecency according to a report in Justice Weekly, tabloid paper published in Toronto. Both girls pleaded not guilty.

Justice Weekly reports: "Sally the 'HE' said she had no record, while Marlene the 'SHE' admitted two previous convictions for prostitution. Sally is built on stooky lines, dark, with boyish haircut and wore white sweater and grey Jeans, while Marlene is an attractive blonde with long fair hair and wore a black sweater with light blue jeans."

Under Canada's code, Section 149, the offence is punishable by imprisonment for five years.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA Tho State Alcoholic Beverage Control Appeals Board reversed an order seeking to revoke the license of the Handlebar, accused of being a hangout for homosexual s. Two weeks later a veteran S.F. police sergeant was arrested on suspicion of taking a "pay-off" from the owner of the Handlebar. Police caught the sergeant with $120 in marked bills. He denied the charge. Police Chief Tom Cahill said he was "shocked"

by the case and intended to press charges.
